Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer Designer with expertise in infrastructure planning, civil drafting, and design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and an understanding of municipal and land development standards. This role involves both conceptual and technical design work for a variety of civil projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D civil design drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D

• Collaborate with civil engineers and architects to prepare site plans, grading, utilities, roadway, and drainage layouts

• Prepare construction drawings, cross-sections, and profiles for residential, commercial, and municipal infrastructure projects

• Assist with quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project documentation

• Ensure designs adhere to local codes, zoning regulations, and project specifications

• Participate in project reviews, revisions, and design optimization

• Maintain organized project files, drawings, and digital documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• 2+ years of experience in civil design/drafting

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong understanding of site grading, drainage systems, utility layouts, and roadway design

• Familiarity with land development standards and engineering best practices

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

• Experience in stormwater management design or hydrology/hydraulics analysis

• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools

• Exposure to project permitting and coordination with local authorities
